  1. This is probably my first attempt (since school days at least) on drawing buildings. The size got away with me, should have used a larger paper. Angles on the small building not quite right. This was very helpful, though, I think I much prefer drawing people and animals. ?

  2. Building perspective still feels a little wonky and kinda lost it on the rock.
At the end of the demo you noticed a perspective problem with your drawing and decided to leave it as is rather than make corrections. I have accepted drawings as is because the correction seemed intimidating, especially when found near completion. In future demo’s I think it would be helpful if you could highlight what you that needs correcting and then talk through how you would go about the correction. Thanks really enjoying what you are providing.

  3. I used mainly graphite with this. I’m finding my General’s pencil charcoal(same as Scott uses) does not always like to play nicely on the paper…certainly not like his does. I was surprised that this went much quicker than I thought…I’d already told my 4:30 appt I wouldn’t be on-time but I was!!! HA!

  4. Well this was fantastic Scott and thank you so much! Mine was not as successful as I’d hoped. Sadly I grabbed the wrong paper to use and it was smooth and a little shiny and the charcoal wouldn’t stick. But I just went with it and will maybe try again with better paper. I have so many drawing supplies and chunks of paper laying around….I’ll have to do a better pick next time. LOL I learned a lot and I know I need practice, practice, practice. Thanks again!
