Drawing this coiled leather belt will give me a challenge today, but I’m looking forward to it. It will be tough to understand the form of this coiled object. Today, I’m working with:
- White Rag Paper
- Vine Charcoal
- Charcoal Pencil
- Kneaded and Rubber Erasers
I struggled with this one.
Tried drawing paper, rather than sketch paper, hoping for more tooth. I didn’t see any difference in the texture. This was a tough one for me. Had to do a light pencil drawing, prior to adding charcoal on top. Wasn’t able to do the drawing with charcoal alone.
I like it, the leather texture just behind the buckle.
